Maia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
At maiorganization our mission is to bring a peace of mind to lives through holistic organization. This mission is so important to me and my team because it stems from our passion, commitment and love for organization. We believe in the powerful benefits of taking a mindful approach to organizing one’s home. Our skills, expertise and care for our clients is shown through our intention, the work that we do and the drive to make someone’s life and home environment more peaceful. One should never take their peace of mind or life for granted which is why holistic organization by maiorganization is an investment in the peace that one deserves. This mission is so meaningful because of the life-changing impact that we make.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
i’m maia, founder + CEO of maiorganization. I was born and raised in sunny los angeles! i embrace and enjoy organizing and believe that one’s home deserves peace, organization, cleanliness and mindfulness. maiorganization is a professional in-home organization company that specializes in bringing a peace of mind to lives through holistic organization. our signature offerings include, decluttering and organizing, in-home cleaning and concierge moving services. we also have a product line of mindful crewnecks and candles. helping others and organizing are two things i am passionate about which is part of the reason why i started maiorganization. one’s home is their personal sanctuary that should be in order, aligned, and look and feel refreshed. i believe that physical clutter leads to mental clutter and truly want the best for others. we use mindfulness and a holistic approach to every space. providing a thoughtful service since january 2021 has been extremely fulfilling and i look forward to changing more lives and healing more homes.
Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
I took a leap and designed a product outside of our business signature offerings. Mindfulness is an integral part of our brand, so developing a tangible product that represents this belief and mindset felt right. I created the mindful crewnecks with the intention of establishing a community or “crew” within maiorganziation that collectively is aware of the importance of mindfulness and practicing it. I wanted the product to be bold, but calm like our brand. I researched and found a vendor that carried a crewneck in a shade of purple that was extremely on brand. Once i fell in love with the crewneck itself, i knew i wanted to imprint a symbol on the front that I had never seen before. I decided to embroider “mindful.” on the front in the color white because it not only represents our brand in a bold way, but signifies that by wearing this crewneck, you respect the impact that mindfulness has on your personal life and are proud to wear that across your chest. I purposely decided to strategically launch the mindful crewnecks on my birthday. I wanted it to look and feel very special…as if it was my gift, in tangible form to my community. Two of my best friends filmed a promotional video with me to highlight the mindful crewnecks in preparation for launch day on 10/17/22. On this day, i had my website geared up with the quantities we had in stock, offered free shipping using the code: MINDFUL and prepared my email marketing blasts and social media content. We sold 13 on launch day and i felt so accomplished. To this day, we have sold 49 mindful crewnecks and I am so proud.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We keep in touch with our clients and foster brand loyalty by gently following up with them and checking in with them on how they are truly doing. If their spirit is out of order, then their environment is likely out of order as well. we can eliminate the stress and feelings of being overwhelmed in their home, by encouraging them to maintain their spaces after we have transformed them. Social media has been another platform we use to stay connected and foster brand loyalty. Our engagement and connection with our audience, which includes some of our clients, is purposeful, intentional and interactive. I hope our audience enjoys and appreciates our content as much as I do.
