Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miles Triplett. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Miles, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

The mission of SVS Productions is to be a safe haven for creatives. SVS was built on the foundations of being yourself. We want people to be who they truly are and feel comfortable to express theirselves honestly with no judgement. All of our productions inspire others to not care what other people think, and do what THEY think is best .

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

SVS Productions started in 2010 when I picked up an iPod camera and started to record myself making parody videos. It grew into filmmaking and making movies in 2014 with my first film “College Life”. SVS Productions now focuses on making feature films with minority cast that you would not normally see them in.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

My advice would be to learn how to communicate effectively for EACH person on the team. Nobody communicates the same. So as a leader, we must figure out how the people on our team like to express theirselves and communicate the tasks at hand individually to each one. As far as morale, it goes back to the communication. Knowing what makes each team member happy, and being able to make sure to abide by that will easily bring morale high.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

CONSISTENCY. It’s not really much else to say. Being consistent is very hard in ANY business. So to constantly be able to put things out and plan for more has been the consistent reputation SVS Productions has had.
