Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alexandria Roberts. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alexandria, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
I do manage my own social media! I use it as a tool to show my modeling portfolio, but I make sure not to make it too serious and just have fun with it knowing it’s such a critical environment.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Oddly enough, I got into modeling after doing my first beauty pageant. I enjoyed the process! But I knew it wasn’t my thing; I realized if I could put that much effort into something I didn’t care for, I could put even more effort into something I love. I was lucky enough to build my confidence in front of the camera through photographer friends. Now after two years of my freelance modeling career, I feel like my diversity defines me. I am sure to never set my modeling according to one style or theme, I am open to nearly everything. I am extremely proud of my ability to adapt to it all. The biggest thing I’d like anyone to know is that my career is driven by a true and pure passion.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I feel that the entire beginning of my modeling career is a persistent example of resilience. I started my career at the exact same time as the start of the pandemic in 2020. I remember being ready to go down to one of my favorite local agencies, but then seeing that in person castings we’re no longer available. The coronavirus made the start of my career a slow but consistent climb.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect about modeling for me is showing off another artists vision. I love the feeling of wearing something from a designer, or pulling off a pose for a photographer, and it being exactly what they dreamed of.
