We were lucky to catch up with Greicy Santos Charles recently and have shared our conversation below.

Greicy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

With 15 years old I started be a makeup and hair model, I always love it this world and this information about fashion and beauty the exact moment I fell the magic and the passion but of course for me a Brazilian girl how study on a public school I knew I had to be twice is good to be half on way to be on the same position as a normal person. I study hard, and besides my passion for beauty and modeling I had to get a job so I became an airplane lover because of my mom and I never thought this would be the greatest lesson of my life. When I was 18 years old I started at the flight attendant school and was amazing, it is a topic that makes me feel good.

I learned everything about airplanes, meteorology, mechanics and also how to live in the desert, jungle and every emergency situation. And like a real Brazilian I never give up on my business woman side, on this journey I also learned how to be a entrepreneur with professional classes and I think what speed my journey was the great advisor I had, my parents and mentors when I started being a flight attendant and latter and I opened my own beauty business. Challenge but amazing experience My most special skill on the process was focus to be me, a great professional, a loyal leader to my employees and Looking back I’m glad I trust the process with confidence and love, I don’t regret anything because in every decision even if I think in that time not was a good one, I get the opportunity to make a different move and take a different perspective today and wherever came across my path I will look at the situation with smart eyes, today we not start from zero anymore, not me but everybody have a degree in life! Let’s be ready for the next chapter.

Greicy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Greicy Santos Charles, 30 São Paulo – Brazilian model, business woman, I started my career as a makeup and hair model at beauty fairs international in Brazil. Young, working as a model at 18 years old. I also started to study to be a flight attendant, with a passion for this topic to make the greatest lesson in my life. A year later at 19 years old, I opened my beauty business on the Micropigmentation aesthetic and paramedic side. Always with my model career going. I decided to attend my clinic and my model business so part time I was focused on both making time for my dreams. I signed with a big jean’s company when I was a merchandising model on TV for 3 years. I love it and give my best. In 2017 I moved to Florida to start a new life and continue my career as a model to the same companyI and with my beauty clinic also building my personal brand. In 2018, I became Miss Congeniality Brazil USA.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I always knew everything in life happens for a reason, in 2017 I had a heart attack and I was wondering how to pass this moment like a restart button literally!!! My resilience was good to make me understand this was not the end but the beginning of my new journey, the amazing places and people I will meet. And here I’m alive telling you to not give up, because when god closes a door he opens a million windows.

How did you build your audience on social media?

My personal brand comes with the truth of being how I am, so I learn the environment I want to be and see a lot of exemples I don’t like, so I have boundaries and balance. Today social media is the first impression, is your business card, work on yourself.
