We were lucky to catch up with Moses Bravo recently and have shared our conversation below.
Moses, appreciate you joining us today. Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?
It was November 15th 2022 , and I finally got my big breakthrough as an r&b artist! Venue owner David Valdez of Guillermo’s down on 618 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX reached out to me to to ask if I could perform for an hour set “paid gig”. As shocked and suprised as I was I immediately said yes .So there I was performing at my first paid show with artist KLVN taking the photographs & DJ Joshua Hayden Scott on the 1’s and 2’s made for an incredible night. Did I mention it was like below 40 degrees ? 10 years, 10 years it took to finally get my first paid show . Needless to say persistence and staying consistent is key to a successful music career.

Moses, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello my name is Moses Bravo – Singer, Musician, Actor and Marketing adviser. My story starts out as a little 5 year old kid growing up in San Antonio , Tx off of Marbach. It was my father who introduced me to r&b and soul showing me huge stalwarts such as Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. He was the youth minister at our community church where he asked me to volunteer be a member of the children’s worship team. From that point on that led me into becoming the well polished and seasoned artist I am today. I provide hard hitting production as an artist which has earned me a spot in the music industry. One thing that’s different about me is that I’m versatile and diverse. I just don’t sing but I play guitar and I’m an actor as well . So this really sets me apart from my competitors. I’m very proud of how far I’ve come one can only dream of of this type of success im truly blessed.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I stayed consistent and I always gave my audience great content . I kept them engaged and kept the fans wanting more. My advice for upcoming artists for building there online presence is understanding that perception is key ,think of it this way nobody is going to want to watch your videos or follow you if your content isn’t getting high engagements. Another thing to keep in mind is you have to have a budget for building your brand! Get your name out there and invest in yourself. Take pride in your name and I promise your crowd will come to you.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I have always been motivated by the desire to meet a deadline. Setting and reaching deadlines gives me such a sense of accomplishment. I love creating an organized schedule for completing a task and achieving my goals on time. For example, when I released my first album last year I set a deadline leading up to the release. Achieving this milestone motivated me to keep working and helped me to ensure that my music ran smoothly.
