Precious, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

When I was little, I grew up watching America’s top model, and I remember telling my mom one day that’s going to be me. As I got older, I thought my dream was far from possible and that I wasn’t the typical standard beauty. I struggled with being insecure about my height and weight. But as years passed, I’ve learned to be more comfortable in my skin, and then I wasn’t gonna give up. i’d like to think little me would be proud of me. I’ve come so far and worked so hard to be where I am today in my career. I am living proof that it’s possible with a little bit of dedication, hard work and patience.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Our brand name is Saucy & we specialize in promoting body Positivity & self-love. We believe that when you give yourself self-care & self-love, no one can take that away from you. The name, Saucy represents confidence, sass, sexiness & luxury. We truly want women to be confident in the skin that they’re in. In addition, we want women to have the courage to speak up when they feel uncomfortable & to not feel bad about doing what’s best for them, even if that means saying “no” in certain circumstances.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

Transitioning from being a model to being a content creator was definitely difficult. My health was all over the place and I was consistently in pain. But somehow I still wanted to keep that creative side of me alive, so I turned to making content at home. It has taught me so much. Being a Content creator, literally means having multiple jobs in one. Over the years, I’ve taught myself how to be my own photographer, stylist, make up artist and editor. Although I still have a lot to learn, I’m incredibly excited and I’m so glad that I didn’t give up. I hope to one day, teach others what I’ve learned over the years.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Although life is hectic , my mission is to continue to inspire others to keep going no matter how hard it is . Life has many obstacles, but it’s up to you to stand up and Face them . My mom would always tell me just take it one day at a time and if you can’t do that, just take it one moment at a time and it’s going to be okay . And I choose to do it through my creative process whether it’s expressing myself through a photo shoot, or through my make up or any of the videos I make. It helps me continue to stay true to myself, and I get to continue to do what I love.
