Kyle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
The only vacations I end up taking are still business related, like if I visit somewhere I tend to do 2-3 days business out of the 5 I’d be traveling for.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Cleopatra Records, is a record label that was invented by my parents. I got into the industry by first building a name on the internet through gaming & using those resources and understanding what’s good music / music that sells. I started off while in high school signing my gamer friends who wanted to make music or their talented friends that were able to stream right off the jump. The problems you run into is competition & sometimes artist lying and being un-trust worthy. What sets me apart from others is that we’re an independent label and I have a strong roster of my own that I’m day to day with and helping artist with creative direction. The main things I want to see everyone I work with succeed and become mega stars living good happy healthy lives.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building social media presence you have to stand out , do something unique and have the best quality content. Engage with followers, friends, fans and don’t let numbers bring you down. Keep it true to yourself, don’t be someone you’re not.
Social media growth comes from strong networking, others liking what you do and being very consistent.
Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
There’s a lot of records & artists that I was so close to signing and they blew up over night. I never let it get to me I know there’s always another superstar out there that will be opening to my guidance.
