The Innovation in Video Marketing and Social Media: The Future AI Holds for Video
While many may think that AI has been the biggest breakthrough for video marketing- the reality is that the biggest breakthrough for video already happened in the last 15 years.
Technology placed the ability to create cinematic quality content in the hands of the mainstream consumer through iPhones & mobile devices. This has helped to lower the barrier of entry into video. Nowadays, anyone with a smartphone can create a video and publish it to social media, reaching millions of people.
In this post, we will delve into the current state of video marketing, the innovations that have occurred, and the future of video with the rise of AI.
The past fifteen years have been a game-changer in the video marketing industry.
Before, video content production was only available to big brands or people who had a lot of money to spend. But with the advancements of technology, anyone can create a high-quality video at an affordable price.
The rise of social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram has also provided a platform for people to showcase their creativity and share their videos with the world.
In the next 15 years, we expect the barrier of entry to video marketing to be lowered even more. With the help of video templates, creating a video will be as simple as dragging and dropping.
AI will generate videos that you would only be able to create in your wildest dreams. And while not everyone is comfortable appearing on camera, AI can give them a voice. It will take a short 5-second video of themselves, write what they want to say, and AI will automatically use their voice and video as if they were presenting the topic.
While these innovations will make video creation easier, they will also bring new challenges.
With the rise of AI, video marketing will become an arms race between brands, trying to create the most creative, innovative, and effective videos. With everyone having access to the same technology, standing out from the crowd will be more challenging than ever before. It will be important for brands to come up with new ideas and push the boundaries of creativity.
The future of video marketing will be all about AI. It will become an essential tool for marketers, helping them create videos that are personal, engaging, and effective.
AI will also help brands to analyze their videos, so they can understand their audience better. New advancements in AI will allow marketers to make better decisions on what type of videos to create. The future of video marketing will favor the most creative and innovative brands that push the boundaries of what is possible.

The future of video marketing is exciting, and brands need to be prepared for the changes that are coming. The rise of AI will make video creation easier than ever before, but it will also bring new challenges. Brands will need to be more creative and innovative, and they will need to push the boundaries of what is possible. They will have to keep up with the advancements in AI and stay ahead of the competition. However, video marketing will remain one of the most effective ways to reach customers. The best time to start in video is now, and with the proper strategy and the right technology, any brand can succeed in this field.
Sarah , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
With over 14 years of industry experience, I am a seasoned television professional who has worked with renowned figures including Barbara Walters, John Stossel, John Quinones, and Dan Lebatard. My expertise is in high demand across production studios worldwide, from ESPN and Univision to MTV and ABC News. I have also had the privilege of developing content campaigns for major global brands like Apple, Disney, Amazon, and McDonald’s.
Alongside my extensive professional background, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Digital Media with a minor in Corporate Communications, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. The challenges presented by the pandemic in 2020 led me to discover a new purpose in creating video content for my personal brand. As physical stores shuttered, business owners sought out my services, resulting in a steady flow of projects for local enterprises and individual coaching sessions that have evolved into mini courses and virtual workshops. Remarkably, my agency now generates six streams of income solely through content production on an iPhone and teaching others how to do the same!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I feel that my whole life has been a series of pivots. Both in my career and my entrepreneurial journey.
I used to feel like these pivots were testament of my failure. But it was only when I started to see my business succeeding and scaling that I realized that all along these pivots were intended to bring me one step closer to where I am today.
My first pivot came when I started my career as I tried to find my place as an on-camera journalist upon graduation during the recession. It was difficult to find steady jobs and I found comfort in just doing work behind the scenes. Having had experience in both on-camera as well as behind the scenes have helped me empathize with my clients who are struggling to get in front of the camera as well as helping them get their best shots and get their messaging across on video in 30 seconds or less for social media.
I then toured through Texas and Miami on reality shows for MTV, Discovery Channel and The Food Network and even worked as a studio manager for ESPN shows produced in Miami.
I then, went on to work for 10 years in sports broadcast where I managed and produced partnership marketing campaigns for the biggest names in the world such as Apple, Amazon, Disney and McDonald’s.
Now, I use all that knowledge to help business owners and local brands create beautiful content and market their business through social media.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building my audience on social media was an uphill battle since when I started I didn’t know the process. Since I used to create content intended for people interested in the TV productions that I produced my content changed drastically.
I had a lot of followers that I had to manually have them unfollow me since I knew that content that I was, now creating wouldn’t appeal to them. I also made the mistake of having friends and family who didn’t interact with my content as followers.
If I could do it all over, I would start my social media account from scratch.
