Hi Fallon, thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I believe there is a lot of work that goes into being a successful artist after you get your license it’s not just about the technical skills there is a lot of behind the scenes that you need for success as a beauty professional. For true success you must continue your education and prioritize your schedule for the business side of it as well which does take discipline and motivation.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

I was born and raised in San Diego. I always had a love for the beauty industry ever since I was young. I started to make my dreams come true by enrolling in Bellus Academy I got my cosmetology license in 2009. I specialize in creating the perfect blonde, bridal, and balayage. I recently became certified in the art of permanent makeup specializing in the techniques of Microblading, Combo Brows, Powder Brows, Lip Blush, and permanent makeup removal. I love creating beautiful blonde and lived in color transformation and making clients hair dreams come true with using only the best products on my client so they can maintain the most beautiful and healthy hair. Creating gorgeous bridal and braided styles for everyday or your special day. When doing a Permanent makeup procedure, I pride myself in using only the best products and providing clients with proper care after a procedure is done. I do have a lot of patience when it comes to my work and pay great attention to detail. I strive to listen and help clients with all their beauty needs. I’m most proud of how far I have come. Growth is a continuous process. Never giving up because great things take time. Producing beautiful high-quality work is always a must for me that is why I strive to receive the best education in my industry so that I can be up to date with all the latest beauty trends.

Have you ever had to pivot?

I have had a lot of setbacks in my life. One setback was recently due to the pandemic. It changed my business model around. It did give me time think about what I really wanted for my business and life. The goals I wanted to achieve that I been putting off that have always been placed in my heart. My definition of success is more than surface level. With failure I believe comes success so you can get it right the next time around and see what works best for you and doesn’t. Always making sure to stay grateful, kind, and strong in my faith. I believe not every setback comes to disrupt your life some come to clear your path and that’s exactly what it did for me and my amazing son and daughter.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Having the patience and being very detailed with all my work. Being a blonde specialist and achieving bright blondes while keeping the hair healthy. The skillful knowledge in color theory with hair, brows, and lips. Understanding clients’ needs and goals while communicating to them effectively. I love educating clients on products knowledge and how to use them at home. Taking classes and staying up to date on all the lasts trends in the beauty industry.
