Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chefwillie305. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Chefwillie305 thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I am still on the journey to being successful. It takes sleepless nights, losing friends, dedication, failure, conquering fears, getting out of your comfort zone, setting routines, And financial discipline.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers?
I am a self-taught private chef who curates tantalizing art through delectable freestyle cuisine. I began my journey whilst making meals for friends and family. The feedback from them was so immense and undeniable that I couldn’t help but think it was my life mission to cook for others and spread love through food. I provide unique and professional dining experiences that can’t be bought anywhere. I provide joy and happiness through flavors. My clients are in need of reliable service they lead busy and stressful lives. I am able to serve them quality home cooked meals so they don’t have to worry about cooking. As the world becomes more fast-paced and based on instant gratification I am able to provide my customers with just that. It saves them time energy.
I am most proud of my ability to adapt to needs of my clients. I listen intently to their requests and I exceed them. That ultimately brings me joy. I always ask “What dance does my food have your taste buds doing?”
I am working towards making my brand into a lifestyle. I am currently venturing into different avenues. My ideas will create opportunities for an incoming chefs. I would like to be an example that you don’t have to come from money or have things handed to you. You can make a name for yourself with hard work and dedication to your craft.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
In my life, I had to decide to pivot career paths. Before becoming an executive private chef, I was working in the retail world. I realized very quickly that working for others was not my goal in life. I didn’t feel like I was making an impact in the world. I decided to spread the joy I feel for food with others. My pastor always told me my hands were blessed. She said one day my hands will be a blessing to others. It took years to figure out what my gift was. It turned out to be cooking. Bringing people together through food inspires me.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My Professionalism and ability to curate food to fill the needs of diverse palettes helped me build my reputation within the market. I love challenging myself to make dishes I’ve never made. I am always looking to enhance every experience. My reputation speaks volumes my clients always spread the word about my creations. They are my strongest marketers.
