We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tracy Tesauro. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tracy below.
Tracy, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission is to help others become healthier, stronger and overall a better version of themselves. To help people be happy with themselves and to pass it on to others.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello! My name is Tracy and I’m a Personal Trainer/Franchise Owner with Camp Gladiator. I went to my first workout in August of 2014 and fell in love with CG immediately. I love the community, the variety of workouts, being outside and all of the people: trainers and campers!!! In 2018 I decided to become a trainer. I wanted to help people get healthier and stronger. It’s a passion of mine and it’s one of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made. To be apart of someone’s health journey is such a blessing. I get to help campers, work hard, push themselves and do things they didn’t think they could do. I get to watch them really blossom and it truly makes me so happy to see them become the best version of themselves. I really try my best to get to know my campers. I want to be able to train them and be there for them in all aspects of their life. When you come to my camps, you’ll get an amazing workout and sometimes even a fun workout. What I’d like people to know about me, is that I truly care. I do my best to give you the best workout. To actually find out what works best for you and any issues you have. It’s not just a blanket workout. You’ll get any modifications you need. Regressions and progressions when needed. I will push you to get out of your comfort zone. To try harder, work harder and not stay comfortable. Another thing I’d love to share is that I pray for my campers and fellow trainers daily. It’s something that is very important to me. I ask them to share any requests that they may have so I can pray specifically for them. Whatever I can do to serve my campers, I’m in.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
CG is an outdoor community boot camp. When covid hit, we could no longer meet and workout together. Our leaders, Ally and Jeff, helped us pivot to virtual workouts. What a learning curve that was. We went from being around people, outside, in person to our garage, in front of a computer by our self. That was difficult. No high fives and lots of technology lol My campers were amazing though!!! The support and grace they showed was unbelievable. It was definitely a blessing to have that and to meet so many people that I wouldn’t have been able to meet otherwise. It was a fantastic learning experience.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with clients in many ways. I see them whenever they come out to camp and workout. Not only do I lead them in a workout, I have conversations with them. I try my best to get to know them, learn about their families and work and build a relationship with them. It’s important to me that they feel like a real person to me, not just another number. I also, keep in touch by text messages. If they haven’t been to a workout in awhile. If they’ve been sick. It’s their birthday, etc. I want them to know that I truly care and I want to be there for them. Between Facebook, Instagram, texts, cards, personal conversations and prayer, I want them to know that their CG trainer, me, really wants what is best for them and will do whatever I can to be there for them.
