Something that I believe in that most people in my industry disagree with are digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum! Well, I wouldn’t go as far as to say financial professionals in my field “disagree with” digital assets. But I will say that the vast majority of financial advisors are skeptical about providing recommendations or guidance on this new asset class, because many see it as just another fad in the financial space. The divorce industry is saturated with well-wishers who suggest that parents should get along after divorce for the sake of their kids. It’s not bad advice, it just ignores the reality that shifting from divorce directly into a best friends model is impossible. What I promote and teach is that the major work of divorce involves only one goal – learning to manage yourself around people who can’t or won’t and learning how to interact with situations that don’t go your way. When you figure out how to do this – by yourself, not with your former partner – you set the stage for a new type of relationship with them that doesn’t require their cooperation to make it go well. I think design gets overlooked as a genuine art form because its created with a more direct purpose and goal in mind. Though there are elements and themes that can go into fine art pieces just the same as design does. Being able to convey emotions or ideas is the core of most visual communication, fine art taps into a more emotional connection compared to designs informative purpose. I wonder if most designers were to start out as fine artist, how the landscape would change from my current perception of design. Read more>>

Being in the solar industry for the last 5 years, I have noticed that residential solar has been given a bad reputation. Unfortunately, a lot of companies have misled consumers about the true costs of installing solar panels, provide poor craftsmanship, and have left homeowners with higher utility costs.
