We were lucky to catch up with Shannon Irene recently and have shared our conversation below.
Shannon Irene , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share a customer success story with us?
One of my main focuses while working in the beauty industry for over 17 years is client success stories. I work daily with individual clients to help each person on their skin journey. I focus on healing skin and helping clients reach their skin goals with any concerns they may have. In my practice I also focus on providing clients with an experience that is different from a typical spa experience. I incorporate various modalities based on skin needs while also providing a luxurious, relaxing, & calming space where you feel pampered. Having a client fully take a moment for themselves to rejuvenate while receiving a skin treatment that helps the health of their skin is the true success to my business.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a bicoastal licensed Aesthetician, skincare product educator, make-up artist and beauty consultant with over 17 years of experience. My wide range of techniques allow me to service clients in all areas of beauty: facial treatments, waxing, make-up application, eyebrow shaping, and beauty styling. My beauty studio, Shannon Irene Beauty, is currently located in Annapolis, Maryland and offers various treatments to suit the personalized needs of my clientele. I also works as in-house Aesthetician for a private high end Aesthetic studio in Beverly Hills, CA where I pride myself on servicing clients and all their beauty needs. My passion for beauty and healthy skin is one that I have carried with me throughout my career. I look forward to playing a big role in the makeup and skin care industry in the future, one client at a time.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I work and is ever-growing and very trend driven industry. Beauty evolves and changes so working in different facets of the industry has helped me to continue to grow and develop as a practitioner. I enjoy working with clients daily, but felt the need to also expanded my reach. I decided to switch lanes a few years back and went on to run a research center for a major chemical peel company. I also have worked in brand education and traveled nationally teaching for skincare lines. Having the experience to work with my peers through education opened my eyes to another side of the industry, which I truly enjoy.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I pride myself on client and brand loyalty. In doing so, I always check in with clients after they have received treatments and make my self available for any questions and concerns they may have in between appointments as well. Keeping in touch via social media is how I build brand loyalty. I share new treatments and products I have available and keep them engaged with what is going on in my studio.. I find this a great way to stay in touch with clients near and far. Working on skin is very personal so building trust with a client and a personal relationship is key for me to stay connected.
