Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Leah Garcia. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Leah, appreciate you joining us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
Yes I am satisfied as being a business owner, I have always felt that working a regular job isn’t for me. Being my own boss has always been my dream & meant for me. Being a business owner has always been my calling. Working a regular job just has never felt right for me! I love to go by my own rules & work on my own schedule. It’s definitely not easy being your own boss it takes a lot of blood, sweat & tears but it’s definitely worth it!!

Leah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started my business to create an impact on women all over the world & I also really love fashion myself! It’s definitely a lot of self discipline involved but it being my passion I love what I do!
We provide clothes of all sizes & for all body types. Helping women feel more confident & secure in themselves & empowering women all over the world!!
What sets us apart is our customer service we provide high quality customer service & attentive care. We also provide the fastest shipping during the week Mon-Fri & high quality clothing material. Our customers will never have to worry about cheap quality clothing, slow shipping or rude service. We provide the best out there!
I am most proud of how far I’ve come in business. I have built my brand from the ground up. I’ve been very successful with returning customers & satisfied customers. I appreciate each & everyone who has supported my business whether it was a like, comment or share or even if they have purchased anything it has meant the world to me. Without our supporters we wouldn’t be where we are today & it truly means a lot!

How did you build your audience on social media?
It definitely took a lot of consistency & targeting the right audience. Consistently posting content that caught their attention. I also already had a good amount of following due to who I am & how people just love the way I dress. It also helps by interacting & collaborating with others to help u grow even more. I also pass out business cards & promote in anyway that I can!

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.
I would stay up watching YouTube videos on how to find the right vendors for my boutique business. It definitely takes A LOT of research! I would find the right ones by communicating with them asking to see videos & pictures of the clothing & the quality of it. You most definitely want to buy a sample item before purchasing a big quantity just so that you don’t get scammed & to make sure you are working with a good clothing vendor. You want to have atleast a few really good ones so that way you have others to fall back on in case one doesn’t pull through or anything that could happen.
