Alright, Evans thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

My name is Evans Mutavi, founder and CEO of MutAfrique Minerals Ltd headquartered in Nairobi Kenya.

I am result driven pragmatic leader passionate about innovations and positive changes. Growing up, have always wanted to be someone in the society who can inspire young people in Africa and across the world. This started all the way back when I was in University 2016 where I got opportunity to work with different embassies in Nairobi and international organizations like UN, International Human Rights Commission Geneva Switzerland amongst others where I got to interact and network with different people from different professional backgrounds. All up to where I am is the power of networking.

Back 2019 I got connected to this lady, Fatma khalif CEO and Founder of The Woman Foundation whom we’re discussing about doing partnership. Ultimately we had idea of, why don’t we use this network we have to do business and this led to establishment of our first ever company as co-founders Almurid Export and Import Co.
The love and passion for business grew.
Years later I got started another company MutAfrique Minerals Ltd.
MutAfrique Minerals Ltd has been established and legally registered fulfilling The Companies Act 2015 (the Act) Business Registration Services of the republic of Kenya.
We are focused on building a mining, multinational conglomerate cutting across different industries encompassing; Energy, Minerals/Metals/Precious Stones, Fintech, Investments Consultancies, Equity/Stocks, Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Optimization.
Working with different small miners companies across Africa,, we connect them to the international markets where they can get better prices for their products to better themselves.
We’re trusted single point of contact for businesses and investors looking for new mining opportunities and generally businesses in Africa.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Getting customers, clients and employees to trust you can be complicated, but it is imperative for success — perhaps more important than sales. If you get others to trust you, it’s easier to grow and nurture your business and give everyone excellent service. But trust is fragile. If you lose it, it’s very difficult — if not impossible — to restore it. Building my reputation has not been so hard for me in reference that have been in public domain having worked with highly reputable organization where my name has been clean and guided the principles that helped me in maintaining my company’s brand identity and reputation. Another factor that has helped my business is Networking. Networking is crucial in building a business reputation. Growing your networks will help put your company out to the world. With more exposure, you get more opportunities to share your brand.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

One of key drivers in your company’s value is the value of your customers. Analyzing customer profitability and maximizing a customer’s lifetime value are highly important and essential to any business. To increase your customer base, it is necessary to stay in constant contact with potential and existing customers and the more value your business can offer, the more likely they will remain loyal. The most effective strategy towards the growth of our clientele is by offering the best services and learning the interests of the customers thus providing them with exactly what they need. We priotise our customers than anything else.
