We recently connected with Eric Finch and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Eric , thanks for joining us today. Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?
Eric first entered the entertainment industry as a Snoop Dogg Lookalike and has since worked on numerous projects as a double for Snoop, including television shows such as “Great News”, “Losing It,”and “Masked Singer”, as well as films such as “Bromates,” “Milford,” and “The Under Doggs.” Eric has also been involved in various commercials, lending his resemblance and voice to brands like Corona Beer, 19 Crimes, G-Star Raw, Bic Lighter, Klarna, Vivint Smart Home Security, and more. He has even appeared in the Super Bowl commercial for Corona Beer, and Pepsi on multiple occasions.
His talents extend to music videos, where he has been casted as Snoop Dogg in Lupillo Rivers’s “Grandes Logan’s,” Aleman’s “Santa fe Klan, B-Real’s “Mount Rushmore” along side Ice Cube and E-40, and Snoop Dogg’s High School Reunion” featuring Wiz Khalifa, and Mike Epps.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Eric Finch hails from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and grew up in the Projects. Both his mother and father served in the United States Marine Corps. After graduating from Lake Charles- Boston High School, he briefly attended Louisiana State University before enlisting in the United States Navy. After serving over 20 years, he retired in 2009 from the US Navy LCAC (Navy Hovercraft’s) stationed at Camp Pendleton USMC. He later returned to college and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. In his career, Eric has worked as a Talent Relations Manager at an exclusive nightclub in Orange County, California where he collaborated with renowned artists such as Lil John, Ray Jay, Tommy Lee, Ludacris, and E-40.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Throughout his journey, Eric draws inspiration from Snoop Dogg and regional Mexican bands and singers. He share advice for beginners in social media, encouraging them to pursue their passion, be original, and stay true to themselves.
