Triniity, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

Betting it all on yourself is one of the riskiest things you can do as an adult. In 2016, I was working a corporate job in logistics. Steady income, medical benefits, opportunity for growth in the company.. the standard option for career development in the capitalistic structure. Though it did create a ground for a normal life, I knew there was a bigger calling on my life. I began doing the research, putting money aside and planning my venture into entrepreneurialism.

Many people fall into the trap of struggling through the average life. Those who find themselves egging over their life decisions and filling the time with things that aren’t fulfilling, often sleep on the dreams that can propel them into a life of excellence. When the Creator has placed a purpose on your life, you must take the risk, and answer the call.

With me being a new mother at the time, I had to make a decision. Was I going to encourage my son’s dreams while I leave mines on the back burner? In order to create the life I desire, I had to take a chance and bet it all on myself. I launched iNCarnate, booked 3 clients and quit my job. That was almost 7 years ago. Since then I have helped business owners of all sizes expand their brand on an international level. The feedback and impact my company continues to implement brings a sense of joy and fulfillment no 9-to-5 would ever. I wake up everyday with the assurance of knowing everyday I am making my dreams (and my clients) come to fruition. This is only the beginning. I have no regrets.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

iNcarnate’s social media following is pure organic. A strong mix of word-of-mouth, networking and content creation (mainly video) has gained us success beyond the scope of social media. Though our we have under 1000 followers, we have been consistently booked for the past 7 years. It’s never been about how MANY followers more than the QUALITY of who is following. I would rather have an audience of 1000 active clients than 5000 inactive scrollers any day.

Now my clients on the other hand are another story! Our strategies are designed for growth and positive impact. My advice as a brand marketing specialist here are my 5 gems to building your social media presence:

1. Create captivating content that resonates with your target audience.
2. Be REAL. Share your story and connect with those you desire to connect with. 85% of consumers shop with brands/people they know and trust.
3. Be CLEAR and INTENTIONAL on your messaging. The algorithm is programed to distribute views based on the types content you supply. If your page is talking about banking one day then your kid’s school recital the next, you’re not providing a clear foundation for what your brand is about.
4. Analyze your top 3 well performing pieces of content to see what is working and how you can improve.
5. Most of all STAY CONSISTENT. Success is not built overnight.
