Hi Marquis, thanks for joining us today. How has Covid changed your business model?

Initially i had this grand idea of being able to work in studios and public spaces indoors until Covid came along. it was hard at first even getting anyone to want to go and do shoots outdoors, but as some businesses were soft opening i found ways to make it work and took advantage of lower hotel rates and limited space venues.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

So I started off just t trying to prove a point about how we view ourselves and how we should be viewed. i wanted to take photos of my peer group that weren’t over the head selfies or bathroom pics. to truly show off their beauty. Then just ran with it from there about taking beautiful photos. I grew from just a hobbyist to a professional in 6 months after my first two publications, and i’m never looking back.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice

I think NFT’s are great way to support artists directly who are contemporary and fresh. Its a way for all of us to own part of the fame and process and not have to go to a museum, except to see the original piece that was created.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

I wish i had some of my current peers who are better established at the beginning to guide me, that and the forethought to use the true digital age to its fullest.
