Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Michael Green. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Michael thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Has Covid resulted in any major changes to your business model?
When the lockdown happened my business visibility exploded. Gyms around South Florida had to close their doors but I decided to run open air sessions in parking garages. I also posted my workouts live on Instagram and posted edited group workouts on Facebook. That time was golden for positioning!

Michael, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I should have followed this path thirteen years ago. I’m currently in my third year as a certified personal trainer. Back in 2006 I was prompted by a program director at IUPUI Natatorium to pursue this path. She saw the talent early. Then I was not in the headspace to be an entrepreneur. A change in city and some years later I am now loving this choice and the competitiveness of the day to day in a field of very competent professionals.
I consider myself a student of the human body so I’m always learning what fits where. I can train athletes. Currently I’ve trained four junior olympians for swimming. In my career I’ve trained over 200 people in both group and individual sessions. Under my care clients receive a nuanced approach to their fitness goals.
Provides a wide range of macro nutrient menu choices that is downloadable to phone or apple watch that provides a wide range macro nutrient menu choices. Of course one on one sessions are the most important. Lastly I provide Affiliate Seller discounts on Arbonne and Planta dietary supplements.
I am getting better everyday at what I do. If a client knows why they are training beautiful results will happen.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Wellness can be a dense dark forest to walk through informationally. Clients need a guide that’s been where they need to go. In the past because I love what I do I would give away jewels of information. Now I am more patient. If someone needs my service than it requires respect that I run a business. I had to unlearn being too giving and be more business minded.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Everyday is a testimony of resilience. It’s all on me. I cannot have a bad day and I have to stay relevant.
