We were lucky to catch up with Sara Resuli , Selena Belulaj recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sara, Selena, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Our mission is to deliver luxurious arrangements that encapsulate not only the beauty of flowers but the meaning behind receiving florals for a gift. We wish for our customers to feel like they are valued and heard when they order with us. That’s why we put an emphasis on personalizing our floral gifts as well as communicating the needs of the customer to find them the right gift.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
The company’s founder are two childhood friends, Selena and Sara. Selena founded the business back in 2022 after planning her sister’s bridal shower. She was about to get a first hand experience on how the floral industry works and the significance behind well arranged flower products. Sara soon joined Selena after seeing her work on social media. Both are navigating the business while working full time corporate jobs. Our company aims to create unique and luxurious products for people who are looking to elevate their gifts. We currently operate on instagram but we will be launching a website soon which will be able to provide more personalization. We are not the typical neighborhood flower shop. We aim to make ordering and delivery as smooth and easy as possible, as we know that in this current day and age, people rarely have time to stop into a traditional flower shop and look for their blooms. We also provide flowers, both fresh and silk, to any type of event. We worked on a wedding which included all silk flowers, and we received so many compliments for the life-like nature of the roses!
How did you build your audience on social media?
Our main social media account is featured in instagram. Selena is in charge of creating all content on the app and she really makes an effort to find the best lighting, background and even puts thought into the little details like making sure the arrangement doesn’t have a wild flower sticking too far out, throwing the whole photo off balance. We often have free giveaways, where we encourage people to tag their friends to enter into a raffle to receive free flowers. We also purchase ads and try to target our audience to help get the word out. My advice to anyone interested in growing their social media is to try different things to get a feel of what your audience is. Once you figure that out, it’s easier to make content targeted towards your audience!
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
We often check in with our clients through email or instagram messages, asking them what they liked or disliked about the arrangements, and if there was anything we can do to enhance their experience. If there is any issues with someone’s order we do offer a couple of options to reconcile; these include offering some sort of financial incentive or a coupon for the next time they order. We value customer feedback and we strive to be the best we can be with our clients.
