HitCre8tors Camp was a Tremendous Success & Blessing.

Pelham Taylor & James Qupid , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
“Hit cre8tors” is a music production team consisting of Pelham Taylor DMV & James Qupid Florida We are a music production team who focuses on innovative ways to create music for sync and mainstream pop culture. We plan to create opportunities for ourselves as well as for emerging songwriters and musicians to grow and build careers in the sync industry.
Creating is something that we both feel we were born to do. So our creative path was basically already written. We believe that everyone has a talent & in our case our musical talents were obvious to the both of us at an early age. We love the fact of expression through music. We believe that music is what feelings sound like. So it just feels right to be a musical spokesperson for the ones that don’t know how to Express themselves.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
James Qupid and I (Pelham Taylor) met through a mutual musical contact via Instagram. I ( Pelham) was working on a song with an upcoming R&B artist. The artist was posting videos of our in studio progress. James saw the videos & commented on them, I responded, checked his music out on his platforms & the rest was history. We come from two different sounds/styles but that’s what makes it work for us.
We created a Production Team *HitCre8tors* and recently held our 1st Annual HitCre8tors 3 day Songwriting Camp. The camp featured some very talented artists & was a Tremendous success. We were able to secure a few Sync Placements for upcoming movie releases as well as some singles for upcoming EPs.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I would say one of the most valuable lessons we’ve learned was understanding that you can’t do so much for others that you begin cheating on yourself! Sometimes we as people get do caught up on seeing others succeed that we forget about ourselves, but we have to make sure we’re good first. I used to think it was selfish but it’s Just knowing your worth. Once you figure that out you’ll be ready to achieve whatever you desire.
