Elsa , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
Being in the makeup industry can be hard sometimes just because there is more competition now than before , I used to work in Sephora when one of my clients hugged me and told me “I love your service you have been such a big help and thank you for color matching me “ seeing her smile and her happiness made me happy and I knew I was doing my job correct and I was in the right field

My name is Elsa most people know me by Jackie and I’ve been in the makeup industry for about 5-6 years, I always knew that I wanted to be in the makeup industry I actually always wanted to be my own boss and make others happy with the makeup they would wear. I started posting my makeup looks and sharing on Instagram and I got a lot of support so I decided to start doing Facebook lives and got a good feed back , I continue doing it when one of my followers told me “omg girl I finally learned how to apply my lashes” this moment made me so happy and proud of myself
If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?
If I could go back and choose the same specialty I would! This specialty is my dream it’s what I always wanted , I am not done yet I have si much to achieve and so much to work on.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Trying to engage with your followers and promote yourself with friends, and family try to be constantly on what you do that is the biggest thing
