Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to DANIELE Oliveira. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
DANIELE, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
Projects that are in full swing are: Zoe The Community, that means life. Where me and two other facilitating friends, Rose Liddi and Kimberly Nicole, together welcome people to feel safe to be who they truly are. We promote the flowering of authenticity, growth and resilience. We learn, rise and overcome challenges, elevate life and flourish as a close-knit community towards empowerment and transformation. We do retreats, events, meetings, birthdays, bridal shower, whatever you wants hire us, we go!
I also have a puppy yoga project in order to make `people aware of adopting and so that together we can put an end to the sale and commercialization of animals.
At the circus, I am in the process of creating a show – “Ancestral Circus: The Cure thorough the Paths of Zarathustra” – is a magical and transformative journey that unites the deeply inspiring philosophy of Zarathustra, Nietzsche’s iconic character, with the wise vision of Ailton Krenak on the past and the future. This ecological and participatory circus invites spectators to embark on a immersive exploration where art, nature and ancient medicine come together to address the ailments of the modern soul.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Daniele, I’ve lived in Arizona for 3 years. I came here in the middle of the COVID pandemic, I worked in the circus in Brazil, as an acrobat and dancer and facilitated yoga practices. When I arrived here, my husband encouraged me to teach in the park next to our house, a way to meet people and improve my English. And off I went. Classes took place twice a week with donations from students. With the arrival of the cold, the classes started to be in my backyard and I also started to give practices in a gym network. Today, I work as a cultural producer at an artistic exhibition company and, with two other friends, we formed a community, Zoe Community. We are three facilitators, each one with their own potential and we open spaces for ourselves and for our community, where we can feel safe to be who we really are. We like to call it a sanctuary of self-expression and self-love. Promoting the flourishing of authenticity, growth and resilience. Our journey invites you towards a brighter world, a higher and more prosperous life, where we learn, face and overcome challenges, elevate life and flourish as a united community towards empowerment and transformation.
Together, this year we held a retreat in Tulum and several events for women with yoga, sound bath, could plunge, gym training, cacao ceremony, selflove practicing, open hearts moments.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Creating spaces, welcoming and inspiring relationships where people can really get in touch with self-love. Allow facing challenges and transforming yourself, working in community, collectively. and this also involves the environment in which we live, our home, our friends, our family, our neighbors, nature, animals. How we position ourselves, how we relate, how we feed ourselves, how we relate to the garbage we produce, how we can contribute to the improvement of planet earth, how we treat the animals, our relationship with spirituality, with art, with self-development, with divine. Learning to live in community, respecting, loving, understanding, setting limits, forgiving, learning to make mistakes and succeed.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
One of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist or creative is the ability to authentically express yourself and share your unique perspective with the world. Seeing your creation resonate and evoke emotions or stir thoughts, and inspire others to create as well, brings a deep sense of accomplishment and connection. It is a cascade of continuous learning, followed by personal development/self-knowledge and self-discovery.
