We were lucky to catch up with Kasie Kimble recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kasie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
For years I’ve always wanted to start my own business but had no idea where or how to begin. So in February 2021 i was sitting in my room and the most random thought popped into my head “sugar scrubs!” Some companies don’t use natural ingredients in products, and I knew people cared about their lips, taking care of them and moisturizing as well so i started getting to work. Once i finally got my formula down packed i would use my testers on myself, swatch them, and also have my friends try them to show before and afters to my future customers .
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
If those who don’t know my name is Kasie Kimble i am 25 years old and I’m the owner and CEO of brechaebeauty. We sell hydrating and moisturizing lip and body products, clothes that are super comfy, candles that can light up a room instantly, and fashion accessories. We help our clients not only moisturize and hydrate but we also help products that remove dead skin and lighten dark lips. The items I’m most proud of are the candles. Each candle is hand made so no one will ever have the same pattern and with over 40+ scents to choose from. I want people to know that i want to have fun, so i also want my products to be fun, to bring a smile to your face. I treat my customers like family.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My social media rise really began on tiktok. I started posting cringy videos being myself then i started to get some traction after a while i jumped into doing trends, fashion content, and transitions then out of nowhere my following skyrocketed.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy has lately been just knowing the posting times and going live on my social media showing off my products and interacting with my comment sections if they had any questions
