Devilz , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

When I was a teenager my father passed of a drug overdose, I didn’t have an outlet. I tried everything to get rid of my depression and anxiety. It wasn’t until I started writing my feelings, that I started to feel some sort of relief. My mom showed me a poem she wrote about him, that I later turned into a song. The song “Struggle” out on all platforms. When I noticed that the songs I wrote impacted people, that my stories were relatable to so many. People have stoped me and said wow, that song made me cry, I felt it so much. And this is what made me realize this is what I want to do professionally.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I’m a Writer, rapper, and business owner. Empire distributes my music. I started getting back into music 2 years ago. I used to Co-Host at a Podcast in Phoenix, Where I met a lot of people that I have done collaborations with. I would have to say I’m most proud of catching the eyes, of the right people. It will be almost 1 year since Empire has been distributing my music, and I have accomplished so much during this time. My last two drops on Spotify alone have over 100k streams. Devilz Playground is going to continue to put out, rap & hip-hop music people can relate to.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

The book the Secret has really helped me, with having gratitude. It’s also helped me with the Laws of attraction. Ask, receive, and believe whatever it is your want to achieve. I practice the law of attraction in my every day life, it also helps me be aware of my physical emotions.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

To be the best version of myself, by being able to help people that struggle with life. Letting them know they’re not alone with their thoughts. That we all have been there, done that. Their is always someone listening. I Want all of my life stories to be able to help someone in my music. I want to be remembered as someone who impacted people’s lives. My goal is for the entire world to know who Devilz Playground is.
