We were lucky to catch up with Andrea Miller recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Andrea thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I began my real estate career to help others achieve the pride of home ownership. Growing up, we never owned a home of our own and I wanted that for myself. After purchasing my first home, I realized what an amazing achievement this was and I wanted to share it with others.
I do real estate for the smiles on the kids’ faces when they see their backyard, the newlywed couple that now have room to start a family & the dog lovers who have room for dogs to roam. This is why I do what I do.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I am proud native Houstonian and familiar with all facets of this amazing city and its surrounding areas. I holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and have 10 years experience in Property Management. My vast experiences gives me an added edge and unique insight when it comes to serving my clients. I have been married for 16 years and together we have two sweet boys. We enjoy living in the Katy area, traveling as a family and sharing outdoor adventures. I am passionate about philanthropy and serving my community. I volunteer my time as a Keys Mentor for at-risk youth, served as the Arisroi Classical Academy’s hospitality coordinator and Griffins Care Chair. In addition I have facilitated donations for various non-profits benefiting children and victims of domestic violence. I am also a seasoned marathon runner, who enjoys participating in local races that benefit charitable causes. I am most proud of the charitable work that I do because I feel giving back to the community is very important.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience on social media by staying consistent and current. I make it a priority to post daily about my business but also add in some personal stories. It’s important to let your audience know what you up to, post when you’re out in the field, reviews from your clients or even success stories.
I have also joined and started several groups on Facebook related to real estate. I have met several clients through social media and helped them purchase homes.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
Keeping in touch with clients in vital in my business. I use a program that sends e-mails and updates on the market to my clients.
My favorite way though is just stopping by my clients homes and leaving them some goodies or a card at their new home. I love to make it personal to them or themed for the holidays.
