Alright, Felecia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Day to day the world can seem like a tough place, but there’s also so much kindness in the world and we think talking about that kindness helps spread it and make the world a nicer, kinder place. Can you share a story of a time when someone did something really kind for you?

When I decided that cooking was my passion and that I eventually wanted to venture out and get a food truck one day, one of my friends who is a vegan purchased a book called “Running A Food Truck for Dummies” for me & he also gave me an envelope with a mustard seed in it and told me that “as long as you continue to have the faith of a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you” … That will always stick with me.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I started cooking food just for my family but my dishes were always over the top in presentation and full of flavor. My kids suggested that I start selling plates to friends in the neighborhood and coworkers and that’s just what I did & it started from there! I am currently based in Valdosta Ga & I travel to set up pop ups and sell my delicious food. I also sell my VIRAL “Garlic Butta” sauce as well (as seen on TikTok).

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

I initially funded my business with money from my job. I saved up and used my personal savings to get things started. It was a big leap, but it allowed me to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I built my social media audience by posting regularly and engaging with my followers. I focused on creating content that my target audience would find interesting and valuable. It’s important to be consistent and authentic, and don’t be afraid to collaborate with other creators to expand your reach. Building a social media presence takes time and effort, but it’s worth it!
