We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Oneil Clarke. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Oneil below.
Oneil, appreciate you joining us today. We love asking folks what they would do differently if they were starting today – how they would speed up the process, etc. We’d love to hear how you would set everything up if you were to start from step 1 today.
If I was starting over first thing I would do is record myself on the social media at least a five minute time lapse of me creating work uploaded to social media five times a week. Once I build inappropriate audience with Content that I want such as drawing a Design. Then I would take it further and apply onto apparel sites such as shein Showtime, and hug. I would then start digital artwork with NFT’s. I would start by giving free NFTs to build my audience, and slowly charge to affordable prices. It has more demand increases our increase those prices. Social media audience, passive income from apparel companies and earning digital income from NFT. Once I feel like I’ve earned my key and have a nice steady income, I would do tutorials and tips and tricks on why digital art is needed and what you should do and why. There’s a lot you can do learning from your mistakes. And I like you can do learning from your success. This is what I would do.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve been driving since I was only a couple years old when I started high school my flame for a creative arts got reignited. By the time I enter college, I figured I wanted to do illustration because of how versatile and custom it is. To be the best illustrator I had to learn from those who are way ahead of me, so I collect a lot of art books about design and art.
The problem is, I like to solve are creating complexities others just can’t put into words. It’s easy to lose. Feeling and what you’re trying to describe. It’s easy to describe what you’re feeling.
What makes me my own illustrator is that the fact I’m always curious and experimenting. I don’t keep my style consistent all the time I like to do different things otherwise I’ll get bored. I personally believe creative must have curiosity and communication if they want to get ahead of himself.
When I am most proud of is the fact that I’m still at it while my style has gotten more complex at the same time more simple. I’m happy to know my determination to be and go where I want to go keeps that fire going.
I want my followers, clients and fans to know you don’t need a large following to be something you can get there without the use of social media. Social media does play a huge role in marketing and trying to get yourself now but it’s not the ultimate way to do it. There are other alternatives. You just have to do research and look.
My brand is always changing, and my work is always my priority. So in my opinion, change in your work ethic and change in your curiosity, could really help you saw higher than usual.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice
I think NFT are essential game changer for digital artist. Many artist I’ve had to go to the show goal of creating sitting and doing countless hours of work to meet so little feedback so when this digital currency came about and gave him that recognition, he completely changed the game all together, and now a whole community is formed, helping younger generations get that recognition social media can’t give. I believe NFT are going to be here for a while.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Social media is very difficult and his time consuming. It takes a routine and a lot of focus. You have to be original, which is also difficult, considering there’s so many creators on it. My advice is that when you start social media just do what you want to do and put it on the platform. There’s no quick or easy way there’s no hidden trick just do it. It takes time to build an audience, and it takes longer for your Content to be seen simply just post and carry-on, and then repeat.
