We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Randall Davis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Randall thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

The main thing it takes to be successful in anything is consistency! Maintaining consistency with everything you do you will always show great results! Some results may come soon some may come later but they’ll for sure come!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Randall Davis and I’m the founder and owner of Gator’z Gold and Grillz! I run a local business that provides custom gold grillz, custom jewelry and more recently my own line of watches! We started in August 2017 and over the years we’ve grown to become a pretty popular business here in Houston, Texas with business spreading rapidly by returning customers or word of mouth.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I already had a big following on social media due to my comedic posts I used to always post. So what I would do is post something wild or funny pertaining to current events then when I see my post getting a lot of traction then boom I’ll post my business or tag my business page in the post and then people would naturally follow it!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Word of mouth and social media presence has helped me a lot but I’m old school so me being a people person that has worked in my favor the most. I’ll be out and about introducing myself to people, passing out business cards and flyers, exchanging social media handles is what grew my clientele the most.
