We recently connected with KASHA MILLER and have shared our conversation below.

KASHA, appreciate you joining us today. Can you tell us a bit about who your hero is and the influence they’ve had on you?

Honestly, my dad, Thomas F. Miller II is my, by far all time hero.. He’s a US Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He served our country for 7 years. He is a father of 3 daughters (bless his heart). He’s been a widow for 24 years. While growing up, we weren’t a family of money. My dad always worked hard and provided for his family. We always seemed to have what we needed and from time to time would give us what we wanted. My dad taught me to always work hard and it would pay off. One example is when I was 13 I started working with my dad during the summer. After about 2 months, my dad said, “Well, it’s about time I’d pay you.” I said, “No, dad. Keep it and when I turn 16, buy me a car.” He said, “Ok, you got it.” My 16th birthday finally arrived and my dad kept his promise. My dad got me my first car, a blue 1979 Mercury Capri. I was beyond excited! My dad said, “It’s not brand new because if you’re driving is anything like mine, you’re driving in the Indy 500.” We both laughed and I completely understood. Truthfully, I didn’t expect a new car.
This is just one example of many that my dad has taught me along the years. I worked hard and the reward felt amazing. This is how I felt when opening my business, May 2016. It was scary but feels amazing knowing I’m helping others plan the wedding or event of a life time.

KASHA, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Kasha Miller is the owner and founder of this prestigious company that offers personality, beauty and full-service event planning. Kasha is a certified wedding planner with liability insurance and member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.

Kasha’s bubbly personality and expertise helps her clients relax as she designs the wedding or event of their dreams. She has great passion in planning the most memorable of events guaranteed to last a lifetime. Her clients regard her as organized, dedicated and someone with a great personality.

Kasha is very gregarious and loves helping people. In her spare time she enjoys her family, staying fit and reading all the up to date fashions and trends for all types of weddings and special events.

Her love and enjoyment from attending weddings and events of family and friends inspired Kasha to start her business. This passion fueled her desire to help people plan their special day!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

My prices. I’m a very affordable planner. I was a single mom of three children for 13 years. I looked for bargains everywhere. Where I can get the best for less? When I first entertained opening up my own business, I knew I wanted to be as affordable as I can be without cutting myself short. I still feel strongly about this. I get all types of clients. Clients who are in college or single parents. So I can relate how they want their celebration to be memorable without breaking their bank.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

Funding my business is a never ending thing. When I finally decided to open my business, I knew I had to go to school and market my business. So, I went into my closet and started selling my treasures I wasn’t using on offer Up and Facebook Market Place.
