Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Paige Galdieri. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Paige , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Funny enough, my mom actually signed me up for an after school acting class when I was around 6 years old, and I HATED the idea of it. But I was not interested in sports like my bother or cousins were, and I was always playing dress-up and making my family members play different characters and act out scenes with me. So, her reasoning was not far off and it wasn’t long until I caught the “bug” and I haven’t stoped performing since.
I remember getting my first headshots done at 12, but nothing came of it…I was convinced I was going to be in the next episode of Zack and Cody overnight…not the case.
It wasn’t until my mom let me watch SNL for the first time when I was in middle school and I saw Kristen Wiigs Dooneese sketch and I turned to her and said “I want to do THAT”. And being the great mom she is, she signed me up for a stand up comedy class in NYC for kids. Yes, stand-up for children. It went alright, but from there I was absolutely hooked on the idea of being in comedies. And I have those tiny hands to thank for it. Thanks Dooneese!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Paige Galdieri, I am a 24-year-old singer, actor, TikToker & social media manager….that’s it for now.
In my day job, I work with UpHigh LLC as a social media manager for comedians. It’s by far the best job I have ever had. Being an up and coming actor, I am so lucky to be building these relationships with established people in the industry. I am very proud of the work that we do. In one case in particular I helped to almost triple ticket sales for a client within months of them working with me.
Outside of my day job, I am working to advance a career of my own in the entertainment industry. I am currently in the cast of Drunk Shakespeare Chicago where I will perform about 4 nights per week. Yes, we do actually get drunk!
What I am most excited for is my music. I have started working with my Producer, John McLucas, on releasing two songs by next year. I have been holding on to these songs for some time and Im excited to bring them to life!

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
As we know, Actors & Writers in Hollywood are on strike. And this just goes to show how underpaid artists are across the board. We are expected to live off of unlivable wages, which is why most of us are working multiple jobs. There is plenty of money to be paid to the actors and writers who make this art possible.

How did you build your audience on social media?
The key is consistency and listening to what your audience is gravitating towards. My audience blew up a random Jennifer Aniston impression video. I remember posting it on a whim because it was a new impression I was working on and I wasn’t very confident about it, but I thought, “what the heck” why not!? Lo and behold, that video blew up and so I kept doing my Jennifer Aniston impression, and placing her in different trends and what not, and that is how I grew. I gained over 17K followers in two days on Instagram from one video.
Here are some tips:
1. Don’t delete – Reels and Tiktoks have a shelf life of up to 30 days. I have had videos that didn’t perform well initially and then spiked as long as a month later!
2. Reply to comment with videos – people were telling me “do more Jenn Impressions!” so I would reply to comment with video and record another impression. Your comments give you content. Use it!
3. Be consistent – I know you hear it all the time but it is true– and I do this for a living so trust me! Post at least 3 times per week on your socials and even MORE if you are just starting your page. TIP: go live for 30min after you post!
