Faviola, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

AGM Solutions LLC was inspired by my newborn Abigail Grace Montes. Collectively the term “Solutions” was very important for me to highlight as a hope of solutions to everyone that felt their Credit did not have a second chance.

As a new and first time mom, leaving behind my daughter to continue working for cooperate made me so miserable! Determined to grow a business in the credit world after a pandemic and my newborn were definitely the anchor to everything I needed to structure and bring my business to fruition.

I knew I had to give it my 1000% and I quit my corporate job. AGM Solutions has not only been a reminder to offering a second chance to others but to myself as well. A solution that has changed my life entirely and I’m so eager to what the future holds!

Faviola, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My passion for financial literacy started when I worked as a Relation Banker back in 2015, 8 years ago. Being able to assist many families in the process of purchasing their mortgage, auto, personal loan was very gratifying. The happiness they obtained by accomplishing their goals really made a difference in my life and my role in the financial world.

Fast forward, I later got into other positions that also involved my financial expertise where I also had the ability to make a difference in people’s lives. My passion for “my job” always made me excel and earned continuous promotions in which I’ve always taken a lot of pride on.

Then COVID hit and it completely tested my capabilities to continue performing and finding solutions to keep my department at that time afloat. With determination and consistency I was able to keep my job while 70% of the world was getting laid off. I built strength, confidence, and all the perseverance I needed as a person to know I was built to serve others. I knew something greater was coming…

A year post covid, I became pregnant and this event in my life really made me go full force and focus all my energy on building something new for me and my family.

I needed a solution to be able to stay at home with my daughter while I also continued to perform my personal goals.

I then, got a first point of view on how many were affected financially and were unable to pay for their services giving them no other option than to file for Bankrupcy and let their credit scores be affected. It all made sense to me and God built a plan right when I needed it. I never went back to corporate since then.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

Credit is king. I initiated all mentorship, fees, and any other capital I needed by opening a credit card with a 0% interest fee for 15 months.

The advantage of having good credit is being able to use credit cards for things such as funding a business.

I was prepared and knew exactly what I had to do to follow a strategy.
