In our experience, talking about legacy is often subtly discouraged by society and we find this to be deeply unfortunate. Thinking about the legacy you would like to build can help you better align your work, life, time – your sweat and tears – with your values. Below, we’ve tried to create a space for folks to start conversations about they legacies they are hoping to build.

The one thing I want to be handed down from my example, is that great trauma can turn into enormous altruism. The trauma we can not control. My cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment was not my choice, but how I dealt with it and how I used it to help others was in my power to direct. Choosing courage under enormous plight is not easy but can be a tool to teach others courage. Read more>>

Interior Design is incredibly intimate, and I am lucky enough to help clients build spaces that serve and support their families long after our work is done. It is so special for me to curate rooms where holiday meals are shared, traditions are created, and memories are made. I hope that every project leaves my clients loving their home just a little bit more. Read more>>

The legacy I hope to have is one of impact and persistence. I want to make this place better during the time I am here on earth and we’ll after. I want to create generational wealth for my family and the community at large. I want to be known for job creation and innovation. I want to leave a legacy of people first. Read more>>

The question I chose was what do I hope my legacy will be? This was my answer. This question struck me above the rest! My hope is to empower the collective, not only by empowering myself through self-love and self-care, but through being vulnerable. My vulnerability provides a safe, enlightened space others gravitate towards who are ready to open up and step more into themselves. Read more>>

When it’s all said and done, I would like for people to remember me as the one who listened, understood and got it right! During the consultation I listen very closely to not only what the potential client is saying but I am also paying attention to how they are expressing their thoughts. I am able to embrace their passion with words and exude a very loving and thoughtful gift. I take this very seriously and am hands on throughout the process from the consultation to final delivery. The delivery portion is where my reward comes from. To have the opportunity to witness the expressions and emotions of the recipient is nothing that can ever be purchased-it’s priceless. Read more>>

Legacy can mean many things to different people. Depending on where we come from and experiences had, it will definitely differ. I don’t believe there is a wrong answer to this question. There are so many meanings to the word legacy. To some it may mean finances or other tangible items left behind for loved ones. To others it may mean family traits or skills that are passed down. To me a legacy is how I want to be remembered when my physical body is no longer here on earth. Read more>>

When it’s all said I done I want people to know how inspirational this movement was. How many people we helped believe in themselves. How many people we helped is what’s important. The fact that I taught and lead the right way. We built something that will live on whether we make millions or not. I changed some things to the people that knew me. Taught men how to be real men. I watered seeds that will never stop growing. Read more>>
