For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my time to volunteering and contributing to my community. Throughout this period, maintaining good health and fitness has remained a cornerstone of my life. Fueled by this passion, I decided to fuse these two aspects and establish Flavored Fitness. My motivation stemmed from the absence of inclusive groups that could inspire and engage my community in maintaining an active lifestyle.
Our journey with Flavored Fitness began in September 2022. We initiated a series of Hiking Events with the aim of infusing diversity into hiking experiences. Simultaneously, we orchestrated various fitness events, each offering a unique twist on staying active and adopting wholesome eating habits.
Collaboration stands as a key principle for us. We work closely with skilled trainers, instructors, vendors, local businesses, and city officials who share our commitment to community well-being.
Flavored Fitness stands as a platform dedicated to curating events and activities that champion health and wellness within our community. We’ve taken into account the diverse range of ages and preferences, ensuring that everyone can discover a fitness regimen that resonates with them.

I go by the name Delphine “Browneyes” Knaff. My fitness journey began with Adult Kickball, a sport I was once deeply involved in. While I no longer partake in kickball, it marked the genesis of my active lifestyle. Regular walks within my community and active participation across various community gyms have been my ongoing pursuits. Beyond these activities, I’m deeply involved in my community as a HOA Board Member, Neighborhood Watch Coordinator, Events Coordinator, and a guiding community figure. This commitment spans over two decades during which I’ve tirelessly encouraged those around me to embrace an active lifestyle within our community. Known for my ability to ignite enthusiasm for physical engagement, I’ve been urged by my close friend, Cherice Harris, to establish a business or foundation. After a productive conversation, Flavored Fitness emerged as our brainchild—an apt name that mirrors the diverse dimensions of health and fitness.
I take immense pride in witnessing the enthusiasm of numerous community members for our upcoming events. Emphasizing that activity can encompass even the smallest physical effort, like a brief stroll around the neighborhood, is a core belief.
My ultimate aspiration is to connect with as many individuals in the community as possible, spurring them to rise, move, and thrive.

Teaming up with my friend and talented photographer, Paisley Renee Photography, marked a pivotal moment in my journey. Together, we embarked on this exhilarating venture, driven by shared enthusiasm. Our collaboration resulted in the creation of captivating videos, designed to ignite excitement and curiosity among our audience. Through our content, we aimed to cultivate a sense of anticipation, ensuring that viewers were eager to see what lay ahead. A key piece of advice I’d offer, particularly to someone interested in hearing how I cultivated my social media following, is the importance of consistently engaging content. To truly build and sustain an audience, it’s crucial to craft content that consistently captivates and compels. This means sharing something fresh and engaging each day, maintaining an active and dynamic online presence that keeps your audience eagerly returning for more.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In the beginning, my first hike was attended by just six people—a modest turnout that could have easily dampened my spirits. However, I refused to be disheartened by this initial response. Today, reflecting on the journey, I’m thrilled to share that our hiking group has flourished, attracting around 50 participants. What makes this achievement all the more remarkable is that it’s been accomplished within the span of just a year since I embarked on this endeavor. This narrative encapsulates my unwavering resilience—the unwavering determination to persist in motivating people, undeterred by challenges. The reason behind this persistence is simple: I derive genuine joy and fulfillment from this pursuit, a driving force that keeps me going no matter the obstacles.
