hello my name is Joanna stein. owner and head chef of Joanna’s kitchen. I started my business 2 years ago after going though a negligent lawsuit with the hospital i had my son. after over going several hour of labor , they rash to the me to deliver room. i then had a c section, after my son birth my son was not care for as he should. i witness my 2 day old son have his first stoke . After undergoing 6 years of fighting for my family . The judge said she found no evidence of negligent. I was so so devastated and hurt , but most importantly i left my son down . i went thought 6 months of hard depression , then finally i snap out of it and wanted to use what i went thought as a healing tool to help other mom who felt or been though similar situation. i went through culinary trainer to further understand food safety and permit and whatnot. 2022 i started doing 4 farmer market each weekend , won 2 local food competition , as the fall approach my son starting having very bad seizures, which has been very hard on me emotionally but also make me fierce to create something amazing for my family.2023 i started with 1 wholesale account . we current have 7 .we focus on working with local small business who share values .it has been beyond amazing to be about to share my culture with others despite your challenges. we have expand and working with local libraries to have cooking class available to people of all needed. one of our big goal is to be at Target soon, Baby step right !
