Hi Miroslav, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?

The story of NeutronField’s inception is one that intertwines both my personal passion and a clear void in the marketplace. My journey began when AI text-to-image models like DiscoDiffusion first appeared in September 2021. I found myself captivated, spending endless hours experimenting, trying to paint dystopian sci-fi landscapes and otherworldly spacescapes using just words. The sheer possibility of it was mesmerizing. But with every attempt, I was faced with the challenge of creating coherent images using textual prompts.

The emotion was a blend of exhilaration from the potential of the technology and frustration from its limitations. As I delved deeper into the AI text-to-image community, I observed a distinctive pattern: many creators were reluctant to share their prompts, especially the unique ones. This was particularly jarring to me. In the world of design, where I come from, sharing and collaboration are vital. But here was an entire community valuing their prompts as exclusive intellectual property.

This observation, coupled with my own frustrations, sowed the seed for NeutronField. I saw a dual opportunity: first, to build a platform where these “prompt engineers” could share and monetize their prompts, and second, to create a space where people could access a diverse array of prompts to enhance their AI artistry.

But why did I believe NeutronField could succeed? The logic was straightforward. The growth trajectory of AI and its integration into creative processes was evident. Moreover, as a designer with two decades of experience, I had firsthand knowledge of the insatiable thirst artists and creators have for tools that enhance their craft. With NeutronField, I aimed to bridge this gap.

When the first similar platform was introduced, it was a confirmation of the niche’s potential. Though slightly disappointed that I wasn’t the pioneer, I realized that being the best held more weight than being the first. NeutronField was not just another platform; it was a community-centric marketplace built on trust, quality, and shared passion.

In essence, NeutronField is the culmination of recognizing an unmet need, leveraging my design expertise, and tapping into the zeitgeist of the AI-driven creative revolution.

My artistic journey began early, evolving into a passion for innovative design that fuses creativity with technology. With over 20 years in the industry, I’ve partnered with top-tier clients and led teams, specializing in crafting immersive designs for gaming, music, and digital landscapes.

My distinct edge lies in my ability to bridge artistic expression with tech advancements, resulting in captivating visual experiences. As a principal product designer, I’m dedicated to nurturing emerging talents, fueling growth and innovation within the design community.

I’ve successfully translated this passion into projects that cater to a diverse array of industries. Notably, I’ve designed engaging visuals for musicians and developed tools that empower sales outreach and lead generation.

My journey is marked by an unwavering commitment to learning and pushing design boundaries. What brings me immense pride is the opportunity to mentor aspiring designers, fostering their growth and impact on the industry.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Looking back on my creative journey, one resource I wish I had access to earlier is generative AI. The ability to harness AI’s creative potential would have been a game-changer in my earlier career stages, enabling me to explore new dimensions of design and innovation. Additionally, I’ve always felt that the limitations of computer technology in the past posed challenges to fully realize my creative visions. With hindsight, having more advanced technology back then would have undoubtedly expedited my progress.

While I’m grateful for the leaps technology has made, there are moments when I feel a bit overwhelmed by the rapid pace of advancements, particularly in the realms of AI and AR. Staying current with the evolving landscape is crucial, but it’s no small feat considering the wealth of possibilities these technologies offer. Nevertheless, the opportunities they bring today are truly exciting, pushing creative boundaries and offering fresh avenues for expression.

Resilience has been a cornerstone of my journey, marked by the relentless pursuit of my goals. Every step of my path was earned through sheer determination and unwavering commitment. I’ve faced challenges head-on, enduring the punches that come with pursuing a passion. Staying on the road, even in the face of obstacles and setbacks, has been the essence of my resilience. The journey has been a testament to persevering through years of hard work, sacrifices, and the unyielding drive to excel. This resilience has fortified my journey, propelling me forward and shaping my identity as a dedicated product design leader and entrepreneur.
