Hi Tandrya Davis , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Greetings! Tenderheadz is a children salon located in college park , Ga.

Our mission: To provide and promote stylish yet healthy hair care for children between the ages of 2-17.

We originally started our business, so that we could provide a safe and kid friendly environment for children to receive hair services.
Most stylist shy away from serving children as clients!
We wanted to create a space just for them.

From Braids to twist to locs , we do it all. We leave all our clients with a smile.
We are full service for children only.!

With a staff of 12, we have been in business for 9 years.
I’m most proud of our stability and being able to stand even through the pandemic.
We are looking to expand in several areas in Georgia and in the future out of state as well.

The Pandemic….. What a time !!
With the works shutting down, of course salons , nail shops and barber shops were the first to have to shut down.
This was a tough time for us all.
With closing down , we were unable to provide for our family’s with no income coming in for months.
It was a difficult time to come from… but we did it!
Most definitely by putting our faith in God, lots and prayer and hard work when we were able to come back 😂

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

So , prior to opening my salon , I was the manager/ lead stylist in another childrens salon. I met Tiffany there as she was hired to be a stylist!
We always talked about our dreams of owning our own Salon.
One day….. I our talk turned into a meeting which in return turned into our dreams coming true.
