Alright, Brandi thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you wish you had started you own firm sooner?

Self-doubt is a killer of dreams. If I could go back in time, I would have started my real estate journey so much sooner. For 15 years I worked as a dental office manager jumping office to office never being able to fill a void when it came to my career. I played with the idea in my mind that I could go to real estate school and change careers after a long career in the dental field, but every time I toyed with the idea of taking that leap towards my dream self-doubt overcame me like a dark cloud.

Flash forward to 2021, with a push from those that I love most, I took the leap. I am a Realtor now on The Alpha Realty Team with Keller Williams Southern Arizona and it has been the most rewarding career in such a short period of time. I chose real estate because I wanted to help families purchase homes. For me, money was never the driver for changing careers, but I will say it came with the territory. As a Realtor, I own my own business, I paid off all of my debt within eight months, I now help about 30+ families each year buy and/or sell their home, I have helped friends get into real estate and create a business of their own as well and I have quality of life back.

If I would’ve taken the leap sooner, I would’ve already helped so many more families, including my own, but I am so happy that I am here now. It was the best decision I ever made.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am not just a Realtor, I am your family, I am your friend and I am a therapist when needed. I shelter my clients from any and all stressors if and when they come up during the purchasing or selling process. What sets me apart from other agents is the fact that I listen to the wants and needs of my clients in order to serve them best. I am typically available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When or if for some reason I am unavailable, I have a group of six other highly successful and knowledgable agents behind me on The Alpha Realty Team. We are here to change the home buying and selling process so that it serves our clients and our community at the highest level possible. Allowing me to represent you is such a wonderful opportunity and I look forward to it.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

My strategy for growing my clientele is simple. I create an everlasting impression with my clients by creating a strong relationship with them founded on trust and loyalty. Allow me to be your fiduciary. It’s something you will not regret. I will always put my clients needs first and make the process fun and enjoyable while keeping you well-informed and on track for success.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

A lesson that I have had to unlearn comes from my 15 years managing dental practices. In the dental office everything is very driven by processes, procedures, timelines, etc. Manuals are used daily. I became very used to knowing my day to day and sticking to a schedule. As a Realtor, you have to learn to roll with the punches. There is no manual, we have some processes and procedures, but most things in real estate must be organic and natural to be successful. Your schedule varies day to day and sometimes you have 30 minutes to grab your things and run to show someone a home because you received a phone call from a client. This was challenging for me at first, but I was able to quickly adapt and overcome the challenge. Now I thoroughly enjoy my crazy, busy, rewarding and ever changing schedule. It definitely makes the week interesting. No monotony of the 9-5.
