Hi Courtni, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

Boozers Bartending On The Go came about from my dream of owning my own Bar/restaurant. My last name is Boozer and I thought it would be the perfect name for this cool place I have envisioned for quit some time. Growing up people would make fun of my last name but I knew some day it would be my claim to fame I’m a sense. My big dream led to me promoting and bartending for clubs in Houston in 2016 to learn the bar basics and how it actually works. Turns out I was great at bartending! Doing so, people would always ask if I did events/weddings/parties so I decided to start my own mobile bar service. Boozers Bartending On The Go was established in December of 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made! I know have a staff of 20 bartenders and just recently expanded services to Austin , Tx!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Social media is so important for business growth in this day and time. I utilize the most popular social media outlets: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, and Threads. Most of my social media pages are connected so I can post simultaneously. Audience reach and engagement is so important so my goal posting 3 times per day. I have content for every booking I receive and I save those posts in a folder and post interchangeably. Creating photo albums and folder on both my desktop and cell phone have helped tremendously in keeping all content organized. You list find a system that works for you!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

My business is a service solely based off bookings. And there are slow months , or times where I may not receive as many bookings as the previous month. Because of this I have to be prepared for downtime. This causes me to think of other ways to generate income for my business. Things I have done include: my cocktail e books, mixology classes, as well as selling my favorite bar essentials on my website! Always remember there are a ton of ways to expand on your business idea!
