Jonathan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. It’s easy to look at a business or industry as an outsider and assume it’s super profitable – but we’ve seen over and over again in our conversation with folks that most industries have factors that make profitability a challenge. What’s biggest challenge to profitability in your industry?
The floral design Industry is constantly changing and adapting to new trends, staying relevant is one of the constant challenges that requires time, uniqueness, investment, relevance and a huge load of imagination.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My Husband and I faced a difficult time (as everyone else) through the length of the Pandemic, being overwhelmed with work, staying all day at home and not being able to see our loved ones really put us to test. During this time we both let our internal artistic creativity emerge, from painting, clay sculpting to floral designing and subsequently the creation of Colibri Garden Floral Design and Giftshop. Our main purpose at Colibri, is to help our customers manifest their feelings for their family, friends, and loved ones thought the beauty and fragrance of floral design. We aim to spread messages of love, care, sentiment, support, optimism and resilience with our creations.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Engaging with our customers, listening to their stories, and helping them to translate the feeling that they want to express by way of a floral design, giftset or message, has been the key to our success.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Our most effective strategy has bee CARING.
Just as it works in our personal lives, caring for our feelings, our health, our physical appearance makes us improve and gives us happiness.
Caring for your business, your clients and your product quality, will reflect on the growth of your revenue, reputation and will add value to your talent, company or project.
