We recently connected with Michelle Nouraei and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Michelle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
Many of my patient are overwhelmed with everything that is going on in their lives. They are stressed, afraid, lost and feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to their health. . The best advice I have given my patient is this: Consistency is the key! Is all about the small things you do daily that will get you the result you are after!

Michelle, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have been working as a nurse for more than 12 years which has been driven by my fundamental passion to help people. From an early age, I’ve had an obsession with health and fitness and pushed myself to compete in numerous competitions including Crossfit, Kettlebell Sport and competitive bodybuilding. In 2014, I became a fitness instructor. I was motivated to help people live a better life rather than just treating their symptoms. A few years ago, my mom was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. At the same time, I was working with a large number of Type 2 diabetic patients, and every day I was seeing what this dreadful disease does to the body, I was devastated. I decided I needed to do something about this. I could not imagine my mom going through what I was seeing with my patients on a daily basis. After extensive research, I was able to work with my mom to successfully reverse her type 2 diabetes and get her off the medications safely. My extensive research and consulting with many experts in the field also made me realize that many medical professionals are giving the wrong advice and treat Type 2 diabetes as a chronic disease. This is simply not true.
The truth is type 2 diabetes is a dietary disease and you can’t treat a dietary disease with medication. Sadly there was no education about the correct diet and lifestyle changes to help patients. My research, as a result of mom’s condition has enabled me to help many more people. This formed the catalyst for my business BelleVie Health.
Once diagnosed, sadly many patients feel despair, anxiety and have little hope for the future. Their regime of constant blood tests, medications and insulin injections can have a huge effect both on the persons’ physical and psychological health. One of the challenges I have faced is that the medical community is still focused on treating the symptoms of diabetes with mediation rather than the underlying disease itself.
At BelleVie health, I have developed a program using a holistic approach to help my clients reverse their type 2 diabetes naturally and get them off their medications providing not only the practical dietary, fitness and lifestyle changes they need but also working with them through the tough times when motivation, encouragement and focus is needed.
With careful analysis of their medical and dietary needs, I implement a program of Low Carb/Keto, intermittent fasting, exercise and lifestyle changes that have a huge positive impact of their health. Initially, I was working with patients in person and this limited the number of people I could help at any one time so the obviously development was to create an online program which is easily accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world. Alongside this, I’ve been able to build a growing community on Facebook – Reverse Type 2 diabetes with Michelle – where people help, encourage and motive each other through their journey to reverse their Type 2 diabetes. I have recently launch my course as well to help those who are not able to afford one-on-one coaching with me. This is very rewarding to work and help people take back control of their health.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I truly care about my clients. I don’t give up on them no matter what. I listen to them and if something in my program is not working for them, I respect that and together we figure out a away to find another solution to that problem
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the struggles has been helping people to unlearn all the information they have read about or been told by medical professionals, fitness professionals and even dietitians. Helping them believe in themself that they can do this. Healing a body is a journey that takes time, patience and consistency. Helping them understand that medication only covers the symptoms and masks the problem. As a nurse, like so many people, I was giving a wrong advice to patients for a long period of time and it was due to my mom’s diagnosis that I was able to really educate myself. So, much of the time my advice is against what their doctor or American Diabetes Association is telling them to do.
