We were lucky to catch up with Carolina Sapena Lafuente recently and have shared our conversation below.
Carolina , appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
During this year I’ve created a new company named CSL Creative. Our mission is to help other businesses with their image and visibility. We help them reach more people and grow as a company by using Marketing strategy. CSL Creative focus the strategy online, so we make visible our clients mostly through Social media and Websites. We manage Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other platforms that help our client stand out in the market.
At CSL Creative we believe that a good Image is very important nowadays. Being known in Social Media pushes your career and products up and that’s why we like to work in these platforms.
There are so many good products/services in the world unknown, that we feel the need to help them become visible. We love to create content and push ourselves everyday to make better and more attractive commercials.
Carolina , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started this business as a side job. I had always focused my career in animation, however I’ve always been a very creative and curious person. So, I decided I wanted to create my own company and do other creative work outside animation.
I always found fascinating the marketing side of things. How to reach to more people and make products stand out in the market by using a good marketing strategy. Adding up, that I always liked art and use different tools to make my artistic work. Recently, I realised that I was passionate about creating digital content for other companies. I love playing around with images, drawings, illustrations, videos, etc.
Since I’ve been working as I Content Creator I realised I love my job and this is the way I will like to focus my career. The process in building my own business has been wonderful and hard at the same time, but the thing I didn’t expect that I would get from this process was, how good it makes me feel helping other companies reach their goals.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the process in creating my work and seeing it finished. I must add that is always very pleasant to see people liking your work after you finished it. However, what makes me continue being an artist is how much I enjoy the process. I love when I learn something new or when I manage to do something that at the beginning felt imposible. When I work I like to challenge myself and innovate. That can cause some frustration but when you make it, that feeling beats anything.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Getting clients is always difficult when you starting a new business. You need to work hard to find them and then work hard to keep them. The world is very competitive and it can feel overwhelming sometimes. However, my way to find my clients was mostly through social media, phone calls and going in person to talk face to face with them. Some of my methods were very traditional, but I realised they were the most effective. Clients trust you more if they physically know you and if they had an actual face to face contact with you. Somehow, it gives them security and trust and they feel more open to make deals.
