Not in a million years did I envision myself working in the fitness industry. The idea of being like Jane Fonda jumping around in front of people in tights?! No, thank you. I was nervous getting started as a doula because of imposter syndrome but I knew it was something I wanted to do. I put it off for months until one day a friend of mine asked me to be her doula. That world wasn’t exactly thriving and turns out, neither was I. I now found myself on a path that had a dead end. Read more>>

I reached out to many professionals in my circle and asked around if anyone knew of anything in the field for sexuality internships. I also emailed and reached out to professionals in the field to gather any insight or advice that they had to offer. Read more>>

As I transitioned from being a student of clinical mental health at Naropa, I wanted to combine my 22 years of yoga teaching in the mental health field. I have an ever evolving sense of how these modalities complement each other. Yet, I wasn’t sure how my first professional job could combine them. I was on Linked In and saw a company called Charlie Health, recruiting Creative Arts and Contemplative arts therapists. Read more>>
