We were lucky to catch up with ReAnna Romero-Alirez recently and have shared our conversation below.
ReAnna, appreciate you joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Back in June 2022 I decided to take a risk and go for my certification as a stretch therapist. This was a field I knew little about at the time, I also had a full time job working for DaVita, a family and busy life already. I took a risk driving all the way to Arizona for the certification and absolutely loved it! I have never felt so at home as I did there, in the presence of other like minded individuals. It really pushed me to take another big risk in November of 2022 when I quit my full time job to just take on stretching clients. I was nervous not knowing whether I would do well, whether I could pay my bills and just not knowing what I didn’t know.
Since then, it has been a bit rocky but also an unimaginable experience. I would never change it. Owning my own business and meeting new people through it has been an amazing experience. I am happy I took a leap of faith. While it is still in it’s infancy phase, I have faith it will develop into this flourishing business.
ReAnna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have always been a fitness and wellness advocate. That is my passion. So when I injured my back during coVid it really put a damper on my spirit. I tried a lot of difference practices to find relief and stretch therapy was the winner! It helped me feel relief and I fell in love with it. I never want another woman to feel the pain I went through, and if they are already experiencing it, I want to help them feel better in their bodies so they can take care of their loved ones. I offer pain-free 50 minute stretch therapy appointments, serving female clientele in the Littleton/Highlands Ranch area. I pride myself on being different from corporate stretch therapy centers because I really focus on their mental health during our appointments. I provide a safe space where you will hear calming music, smell calming aroma therapy scents that can enhance down regulation of the nervous system during your visit. I also offer options to add on cupping, vibration plates or CBD.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
What I have found helpful in growing my clientele is word of mouth. When a client comes in, they become like family, I take care of them, and in return they share what they love with their friends and family. Since this is something I value, I offer a referral discount.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
When it comes to building a quality reputation it’s all about marketing, getting out into your community and giving more than taking. I attend a lot of events, paid and free, just to get my services out there and in front of new people. I am also very active on social media, I answer questions on social and just engage with my followers.
