Alright, Vincenzo thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I was 9 years old
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Vincenzo Martinelli. I am a Latin and Spanish Guitarist with 5 critically acclaimed albums doing well on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music & all social media platforms. I was inspired to join the world of music through my father, an amateur mandolin player from Italy.
As a boy, we would play music together which was all it took for me to fall in love with this art form.
It was my dream, as a boy, to some day travel the world playing my guitar to International audiences. After a period of serious study, countless hours of practice & a Masters Degree in Music, I achieved my dream.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Recognizing you have a real Love. & passion for something gives you the compass you need to navigate your journey.
It is one’s own responsibilities to navigate the set backs, the ups & downs & to eventually succeed on your own terms.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Following your heart & following your dreams is the ultimate journey. No one writes the handbook on this. It’s your own journey, your own creation. It’s an honor to beat to your on drum & live your authentic life. It takes courage but it’s worth the effort!
