As the hurricane made landfall just a day before the show, the entire town shut down. Our fearless showman, Alex, had planned to sleep in our trusty minivan throughout the three-day event. Little did we know that Mother Nature had other plans in store for us, throwing us into an unusual and challenging situation right from the start.
Undeterred by the circumstances, Alex refused to let this opportunity slip away. He was determined to make the most of it, even with lowered expectations. And that’s when the magic happened, towards the end of the final day, when other vendors were ready to pack up and call it a day.
Enter Andrea, a remarkable lady who had been on a lifelong quest to find an effective deodorant. Drawn to our booth by the grandiose display of a giant deodorant sign (yes, we like to make a statement!), she shared her struggles and frustrations. In that brief encounter, Alex handed her a sample of our all-natural deodorant, and in return, shared a glimpse of our own deodorant odyssey.
Little did we know that this seemingly simple act would leave a lasting impact. A few weeks later, a thank you card arrived, adorned with a handwritten letter from Andrea. She poured her heart out, declaring her love for our deodorant in the most eloquent way. As a chef, she marveled at how our deodorant stood strong against the scorching heat of the kitchen. She hailed it as “miracle stuff,” confessing that never before had she experienced a whole day feeling dry and fresh.
We receive feedback and testimonials about our deodorant on a daily basis. We needed an aluminum-free deodorant that actually worked, and facial care products that would help us age gracefully. As such, we made quality our number one priority from the very beginning.
Throughout our journey, we have encountered numerous crossroads where we faced the choice between price and quality. And time and time again, we consciously chose quality. Why? Because we have always been on a quest for products that truly deliver results. While it may have been tempting to opt for cost-cutting measures, saving a few bucks was never our driving force. Our true motivation has always been rooted in our desire to help people enhance their confidence and overall health.
This unwavering commitment to quality is what our customers have come to expect from us. Jim Rohn often said “you are the sum total of the 5 people you spend the most time with,” We couldn’t agree with this more but neither one of us had many friends or family that were entrepreneur minded. That’s why we’re super thankful for the time we live.
From podcasts and audio books to YouTube and Google, we have access to the greatest minds that have ever lived. And we hang out with them regularly. Yes, we’ve made friends with people who are like minded and push us in our business asperations but the resources that we have available today are incredible.
Alex Hormzi has probably had the greatest effect on our business to date. Alex stumbled onto him through social media and from there started listening to his podcast and best selling book “100 Million Dollar Offers”.
