Kobee, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
What did my parents do right?
My parents stayed/Stay on my case of the importance of being a gentleman and having/showing respect to others. They pushed me daily to be the best version of who I am

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
it’s Next1Up man I’m an American artist born in Alabama (Hine St Baby), I first was introduced to the music scene when I was just a 9 yrs old I always loved music I come from a family of musicians & performers, at just a young age I used to run around my mother’s beauty salon and dance and perform Micheal Jackson songs to all my mothers clients they would tip me money and they would be so happy! I started making rap music as I got in the 7th grade I fell completely in love with it now I’m 21 about to be 22 October 28th and I have 2 albums out 2 Eps & 3 singles out (Next1Up)… what I think sets me apart from other artists is that I am very versatile I can actually sing but I’m holding that in for the right time the right moment! The main thing I want my fans to know is that the time is coming the time is close I love y’all <3 and want to say Thank you all for the love and support it mean a lot to me thank you again from the bottom of my ❤️
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
On this journey there has been a lot of obstacles I had to overcome, the main obstacle I had to overcome was keeping the faith along my journey my Grandfather passed away in 2020 I wanted to give up I made the song (Letter to my family) to let my family know everything is okay I got them for life then 2 years later my father passed away a couple months before my 21st birthday I made (His only son) a song that’s unreleased with pain and a powerful message behind it I just want to say to never give up and keep going I keep my head held high because I never lost faith in God🙏🏽
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on my social media’s by posting constantly and never giving up when it looked like it was over, I connected with my fans on a emotional heartfelt wave by showing them y’all believe in me so I love y’all forever
