Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Shawn Boissinotte Alexis. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Shawn thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Our mission is to help a billion people live their truth so they can embody every aspects of themselves so they can live a life of purpose.
The reason it’s meaningful to me it’s because I grew up in an environment that wasn’t conducive to express myself the fullest. I was fearful of being judged and I lacked confidence but deep down I always knew their was something in me that could change everything. When COVID happened I had a real hard look at myself and how I was living my life and decided to go on the traveling journey to rediscover myself. After this 3 year journey and having spent one of those in a kung fu dojo in Thailand, I came to understand the interconnectivity of everything in the universe and how we are not separate from each other we are limitless.
And so that’s why I built limitless to show and teach people how to achieve their limitless potential.
Shawn, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Shawn, I’m from Montreal, Canada. How I got into the personal development field is through my own journey and realizing how everything comes full circle.
I was a kid who was and still is super imaginative but throughout my life a lot of exterior factors would downplay these grandiose ideas I had for myself. Ever since I had this epiphany during COVID and having rediscovered the true essence of my self I feel it’s really important for me to be an example for others and to help them realize they have the same power within them to be anything they can imagine.
As of now what I provide for my ninja’s is a lot of motivation content and I share my story so it can hopefully inspire them. In the future I plan to have my own kung fu dojo and offer different self help services to help build people up.
What I provide for my ninjas is an opportunity to look at themselves for who they truly are and make them understand that whatever they went through in the past does not define who they are.
What I’m most proud of is being able to live my life to the fullest and what I want my ninja’s to know I’m very down to earth and easygoing. What I want them to know about Limitless is that it’s really possible to achieve and discovering yourself is the best thing you can do for yourself
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
During my 3 year traveling journey before I made it to Thailand I was homeless for about 6 months.
I was determined to reach the kung fu dojo in Thailand as I felt it was the best place for me to really start working on myself. I couldn’t make it there by land after traveling cross country from Germany to Turkey so I went back home to Montreal.
After 4 months of recharging and realizing there was nothing for me back home I went back on the road this time I traveled in the US.
I went from Atlanta, NY, Vegas, Mount Shasta and Sedona.
During my time in Shasta and Sedona that’s when I was homeless because I didn’t have enough money to pay for a place to stay and the fact I was following my intuition knowing that I would end up in Thailand in some shape of form to me no sense to invest in an apartment .
So I ended up living out of a tent for 6 months. I learned a lot about myself and life by being homeless all why keeping the same positive upbeat energy I have about myself and although it was very hard and I would ask myself when is this going to be over, I did end up making it to Thailand because I received a scholarship to the dojo.
A lot of twists and turns during my journey and this was one of them I was able to manifest Thailand into existence by trusting my vision and not succumbing to how life was presenting itself.
Have you ever had to pivot?
I’ve changed career paths so many time, I went from rapping, dj’ing/producing, I’ve tried so many things to find out what was for me and I’ve came to realize that I can be all these things I aspire to be but in order to make an impact on the world I have to teach my mindset and show people how to be limitless and by being in service to the others in that way the rest will come.
