Anthony, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be successful it takes a ton of hard work and dedication. Sometimes I don’t want to put the work in but then I remember that if I don’t work hard. It’s someone else out there willing to out work me and take my position. That motivates me to work harder to be successful.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Anthony. I’m 34 years old born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. I run my own podcast studio in Jacksonville, FL. I not only produce my own podcast but I produce other podcasts in the city. What I do now evolved from me recording my own podcast on Skype inside my moms house 8 years ago, into a legit business. At RAOP Studios we provide top quality audio/video recordings for your podcast or web series. We use the best quality microphones, video cameras and audio interfaces in the podcast game. Anytime some compliments me on the quality of product it always makes me happy. A lot of people tell me no one in the city has as good quality product as us.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
At first we started off with $20 microphones. Then eventually we built our brand up and started funding everything through our Patreon. We literally worked everything out of hard work, no investments. And with that Patreon money we were able to get our own studio.
How did you build your audience on social media?
For the most part all social medias are used to help us grow. You just can’t be afraid to post. You never know who is watching. All our social medias are posted on daily. We have 11k followers on instagram, 20k followers on Tiktok and 30k followers on Facebook.
