We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lynn Green. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lynn below.
Alright, Lynn thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
I recall in 2021 my husband was hospitalized for 18 days due to the virus, we were unable to work for a period of time at his chiropractic business and that is when I prayed and asked for direction. What showed up for me strong was posing clients and my business has grown ever since. I had the most incredible 2022 and moving into 2023 with great momentum and a team of amazing coaches. I will never forget those scary moments and the uncertainty, I will forever be grateful.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I have been in the fitness industry since I was 20 years old. I started out as personal trainer majoring at UCF in Sports & Fitness and dabbled in a couple fitness competitions before discovering a passion for pole dance fitness. I absolutely fell in love with the athletic art form and ran my own pole dance studio in Jacksonville for a few years. I realized how much I loved helping women feel good about themselves and helping them stay active and get healthier. We moved and I ran women challenges & bootcamps before finding my passion in posing for stage modeling and photoshoots. When 2020 happened, I had my 2nd child and was suffering post-partum blues when I decided to commit to prepping for WBFF Shows. I ended up earning my crown title of Miss Diva Bikini International 35+ and took my posing online with a course, app and now even coaches for Fit Pack Posing. I am proud of the growth in my business because I really want to see women be their best. As a mother I know how much connecting to my diva has really helped my self confidence & joy. I bring my experience of being a holistic athlete (working alongside my husband, Dr. Alvin Green in our sports medicine/chiropractic clinic) & show girl (performing on WBFF Stages, pole dance and even as a professional samba dancer) to my coaching. My next goal is to help more women feel confident off the stage with new upcoming challenges and masterclasses to feel and show their best.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think what helped me most is my genuine love for what I do and how I treat my clients/team. The culture of empowering women, queens supporting queens, nourishment and lots of encouragement is how I like to run my business. I feel there is plenty to go around, focus on doing your best in what you do and how you do it. Treat people with kindness and from a place of love.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I never thought of myself as strong until I learned to lift weights when I was 20! I was not an “athlete” or “healthy” eater growing up. I made a decision to become the best of version of myself when I was invited to be in a calendar submission. It took having a goal to inspire me and still to this day setting mini goals help me. In all areas of life, I focus on self-development and growing my faith. One thing in life is it will always change, and you can expect challenges always arise so having a firm grasp on your health, fitness and mindset set you up for successful decisions and actions. I find when problems arise just to focus on the basics, but the hardest most important thing is your mindset! I read, watch and listen to things and people who inspire me to stay strong, focused and motivated to do better.
